Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Manager, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service description

Manager is a cloud-based task and meeting management platform. We provide workspaces, task tracking, meeting scheduling, and related features on a subscription basis.

3. Account responsibilities

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Manager.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at legal@manager.app.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal purposes or to violate applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its systems.
• Transmit malware, spam, or harmful content.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the service.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the service without our consent.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of new pricing.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms.

6. Data and privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

7. Intellectual property

All rights in the Manager platform (code, design, trademarks) remain with us. You retain ownership of all content you create within your workspaces. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content solely to provide the service.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice where practicable. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law. On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days (subject to legal retention requirements).

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Manager shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal, without prejudice to your statutory consumer rights.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
